Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
CExchange adheres to all three aspects of the three "R's" as promoted by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Reduce the amount and toxicity of trash you discard.
CExchange works with manufacturers, retailers and consumers to reduce the amount of e-waste by accepting many different kinds of consumer electronics products (and the list grows longer everyday) from across the country.
Reuse container and products.
CExchange reuses, repairs, and refurbishes most of the electronics that we receive thereby reducing the amount of raw materials needed to manufacture new devices and helping to conserve our natural resources.
Recycle everything that isn't reused.
NO LANDFILL: 100% RECYCLING!! CExchange will never directly or indirectly allow consumer electronics products that we receive to ever be sent to landfills, domestically or internationally.
No Export Policy
We hope that you have seen or read the news stories about unscrupulous recyclers who ship hundreds of thousands of pounds of electronic waste to third world countries to be broken down using methods that are hazardous for the workers and for the environment. At CExchange, no electronics device will be exported for recycling.
